Gee, It's Borgy**

I was lining up at Starbucks in Glorietta 4 when I saw emerging from the Oakwood condo Borgy Manotoc and his friends. He was clad in an obviously all-Bench getup. He's undeniably a handsome mestizo. He moved like a regular guy, which I couldn't say for his companions. I bet he's trying his best to appear normal. I bet he's not completely oblivious to the Marcos baggage. I bet he's not that happy about it, not when Marcos-bashing is politically correct. I bet he doesn't watch the news. I bet he doesn't watch TV. *

If pity him for all that. Why should the sins of the grandfather be visited upon the grandson? *

Then again, why should we worry about that when our people have practically absolved Marcos and all his cronies? It's highly possible that someone like Danding would become president, his face one day appearing on our monetary unit! *

Watch out for this boy Borgy, for he just might run someday to redeem the Marcos name. *
