Freedom of information, anyone?

Ronnel Lim, a highly atypical Chinoy (are you?), is a highly informative read. In Ped Xing, he makes a case against the enemies of Napster, the enemies of open source codes, the commodification of thought, ad-driven media, etc. etc. He beat me to it and I hate him already.

Possible rebuttal: It is commerce that fuels new knowledge and creativity. Without commerce, there would be no R&D, no new knowledge, breakthroughs, discoveries, etc.

My current position on the matter: But is free enterprise free?
